COUNTRY OVER PARTY
NEAL SIMON
"UNITE AMERICA"

Our November speaker, Neal Simon, is a business leader, former political candidate and an advocate for change in the structure of American politics through advancing innovative strategies and reforms like ranked-choice voting, redistricting reform, enhanced transparency and accountability in the political process. He is an active board member and advocate of Unite America, a DC based organization working to reform our political system and fostering a more representative government.

In 2018, Neal ran as an independent candidate in a competitive three-way contest for Maryland's U.S. Senate seat. He is the author of "Contract to Unite America: Ten Reforms to Reclaim Our Republic," a compelling work that draws from his own experiences as a candidate and other campaigns across the nation.

Simon is an experienced business executive and community leader. He served as CEO for various enterprises, including Highline Wealth Management and Bronfman Rothschild, a respected investment advisor managing assets exceeding $6.5 billion. Within his community, he has assumed board chair roles at the Greater Washington Community Foundation and the Montgomery County Community Foundation. Notably, Simon's family was honored by Interfaith Works, a prominent nonprofit assisting low-income families, as Humanitarians of the Year in 2016. His educational background includes a bachelor's degree from Brown University and a master's in business from the University of Chicago.
